St. Louis House of Refuge
Index to “Journal of Commitments”
The St. Louis House of Refuge assisted families and children in the nineteenth century. The index provides the name of the child and the corresponding page number in the House of Refuge Journal of Commitments dating from July 1854 to January 1899. The original journal is available at Missouri Historical Society Library.
