Connecting Crossroads: Early Settlers and Explorers
to St. Charles and St. Louis

Featuring Amy Haake-Argyros, archivist, St. Charles County Historical Society

This meeting will be hybrid: in-person at the Clark Family Branch, St. Louis County Library, 1640 South Lindbergh Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63131, and via Zoom.

(A link to a Google map with directions to the library is here.)

St. Charles and St. Louis served as vital hubs for early American exploration. St. Charles was the launching point for Lewis and Clark and the eastern terminus for the Boone’s Lick and Santa Fe Trails. Both cities connected settlers and explorers to the vast interior of the American West.
