Fox Creek/Hollow School Teachers and Students, 1870–1943

The article, “That a School House Schale Be Build,” contains lists of teachers, students, parents/guardians, and taxpayers from the time the school began until it finally closed. Written by StLGS volunteer Joyce Mercer, it was published in the StLGS Quarterly, winter 1996 edition, volume XXIX, no. 4. The article also contains a history of the school and information on the community of Hollow in far west St. Louis County.
