In 1805, a group met in the home of Francis Collard for a Methodist class. Many believe this was the group that eventually led to the establishment of the Bellefontaine Methodist Episcopal Church. These group members are listed below.

The rest of this list consists of three Confederate soldiers: Benjamin Edmondson (killed in 1864), George Rhodahaver (died at Vicksburg), and Montgomery Dyson, and “colored” members of the circuit. We have no further information on any of these people.
